I am a million times sure that I'm not the only one that has asked the above question at some point. It beats me how vast the charms of good music seem to have been lost recently. Now, some of the horde has raise placards to a new believe that good music means, "A song that is dance-driven with a banging beat". Most hordes are not interested in the weight of good message that music should pass. Hence, they are more interested in the weight of beat that can make them dance.

Music should be another way of telling a story, empowering others, inspiring others, comforting others, and passing across a powerful message that can be of tremendous impact on the next to next generation. TOO BAD, Music is now the leeway that preaches showy materialism, satanism, greed, violence, hatred, revenge, and the most attractive of all, SEX. Infact, sexual music is the selling point for most artistes today. An artiste may begin a good song with a beautiful hope-instilling intro and a lovely chorus. It will leave you flabbergasted when you realize that this same artiste finds a girl/guy to lay down with towards the end of the song. This was the same song that began so inspirational and turned out tacky later in the end.
It's the younger youths that I really sympathize with because they are so vulnerable to the schemes of bad music. It's only a few today that still sings beautiful music that has pristine and hopeful lyrics. So the problem is the "FEW" word that I used; which means that good music can't be easily found when you need it. GOOD MUSIC does not depend on how blast the beat is but how inspiring, spiritual and pristine the message is. It should be a music that parents can confidently advise their children to listen to and even add to their playlist.
Before, music said the words we couldn't think of and expressed our thoughts out for us. At 2014, popular and powerful songstress, JENNIFER HUDSON released her third studio album titled JHUD. And in one of the tracks titled "BRING BACK THE MUSIC", here is what she emotionally belts out , " Back in the time that music make me smile, the song will change the weather, we can together.
But somewhere along the line we lost sight and we made the music go away. Took away our joy and we started fighting. And before we lose another (music) today, Won't you save?
And better bring it back? Say you bring it back Gotta bring it back, gotta bring it back Bring back the music, bring back the life Bring back that feeling, feeling of love".
Even some artistes can confidently admit to themselves that they have lost the tulip of music. Jennifer Hudson must have been touched by the new table that has turned on good music. There is a big difference between MUSIC and GOOD MUSIC. If only some artistes can humbly realize this unequivocal fact, then we can "BRING BACK THE MUSIC". Good music does not have an expiration date; for it keeps living for generation after generation. Bad music is fleeting and in the end, goes out of extinction in a fleet of fire and in a way that no one could have predicted.
Here are what some artistes had to say about Good Music:

"I think wherever you go, when people hear good music, they will react to it."

 "If I wake up one day and people tell me I'm not sexy, I'm not going to stop making good music and having fun. That 'sex symbol' thing is typically part of being in the limelight. You better be very talented in your music, but it's good to be nice to look at, I guess."

"If one plays good music, people don't listen and if one plays bad music people don't talk"

"There are only two things worth aiming for, good music and a clean conscience."

"I'm not going to go to a producer that's
going to take me in a studio and charge
me my whole budget and give me a fake
head nod. I'm just trying to make good
music. I appreciate everybody that's
supporting me."

"Music is the greatest communication in
the world. Even if people don't
understand the language that you're
singing in, they still know good music
when they hear it."

Some artistes didn't turn out to be bad news all of a sudden when passing messages via music. It might be that when they first began, they had better intentions of singing good songs. However, the negative influences of other musicians must have been what plunge them into what they now are. In life, it's safer and best to stick to your first good intention right down to the end and not trying to be like others. Some musicians are no longer heard not because they don't want to but because they have lost the tulip of good music. It takes a good person to bring forth good things.
Please let us keep encouraging good music, repudiate the wrong kinds of music and keep our conscience untainted.
