? VALUE YOUR SLEEP - An Article By VICTOR MMENDIE
It's now an increasing maxim when people say, "If you want to be successful, you must sleep less and work more". I personally feel that anyone that holds on to that believe ONLY will TRULY not succeed. Truth be told, there are millions of people that have sacrificed their sleeps from time in memorial til now and are STILL not successful. Instead, they are coping bitterly with a serious health related ailment or the other. While there are some other wiser people that utilize other vital measures, did not put their health on the line and are truly successful. Success is not a process of foolishness; it is a process of wisdom. There are so many indispensable measures involved to achieve success than JUST SLEEPLESS NIGHTS.  Attaining Success is like a delicacy that's about to be prepared. Assuming that the name of the food to be prepared is called SUCCESS (Fried Rice), and let's also assume that the name of one of the ingredients to cook SUCCESS is called SLEEPLESS NIGHTS (MAGGI - Bouillon Cubes). The question is, is Maggi seasoning the most IMPORTANT SEASONING involved in the preparation of fried rice. Remember, when preparing a meal, there are ingredients you can do without and there are also ingredients YOU CAN'T DO WITHOUT. Also, without the MAGGI (SLEEPLESS NIGHTS), doesn't mean a delicious fried rice can't be achieved? Think about that.

Similarly, a few amount of sleepless nights can be done to achieve a project or goal, especially under a deadline situation. However, that is NOT and has NEVER been the gateway to success. Instead it is the fastest gateway to death and a miserable health life.
A few nights with only six hours of sleep can shut us down. Experts tell us that sleep is critical for both our overall health and our emotional well-being. The Cleveland Clinic reports that missing only 90 minutes from the recommended allotment of seven to nine hours will make you less alert, impair your memory, cause trouble in your relationships and overall quality of life and increase the likelihood of having a car accident.

If you continue to believe that somehow you can live on five or six hours of sleep, you could be asking for more serious problems, including high blood pressure, diabetes, heart failure, stroke, obesity and depression. And, if these harbingers of doom aren’t enough to make you dive under the covers, add lower sex drive and premature wrinkling to the list.

TRY THIS AND GOOGLE IT: "10 steps to attaining success", SLEEPLESS NIGHTS has never been part of the list.
So dear folks, don't be deceived. Health comes first before wealth and not the other way round.
Let's consider some individuals and the deep-seated words they mentioned about sleep:

“Sleep is the golden chain that ties health and our bodies together.” — Thomas Dekker

“Sleep is the best meditation.” — Dalai Lama

“Your future depends on your dreams, so go to sleep.” — Mesut Barazany

“The best bridge between despair and hope is a good night’s sleep.” — E. Joseph Cossman

“It is a common experience that a problem difficult at night is resolved in the morning after the committee of sleep has worked on it.” — John Steinbeck

“There is more refreshment and stimulation in a nap, even of the briefest, than in all the alcohol ever distilled.” — Edward Lucas

“The minute anyone’s getting anxious I say, ‘You must eat and you must sleep.’ They’re the two vital elements for a healthy life.” — Francesca Annis

“A good laugh and a long sleep are the best cures in the doctor’s book.” — Irish proverb

“Fatigue is the best pillow.” — Benjamin Franklin

“Happiness consists of getting enough sleep. Just that, nothing more.” — Robert A. Heinlein
Having considered the disastrous consequences of not having a good sleep just to attain SUCCESS and the beautiful sayings of sleep , don't compromise on your sleep. Rest well. Work smart. Move with wise and highly intellectual individuals. Do thorough research. Read and study. Always have your solitude time for constant meditation. Relentlessly keep up with the pursuit of your goals. Most importantly, PRAY FERVENTLY TO GOD and let him direct your paths. Trust me, you’ll succeed that way.
